How could pastors be fooled by heliocentrism? How could sincere pastors mix scientism with sound biblical hermeneutics? How could pastors possibly have been fooled into believing anti-God rhetoric from the atheist community? These are some of the most relevant questions of the day for churches.

I’m not talking about pastors who we know are heretics and false teachers, like Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Benny Hinn, T.D. Jakes, Joyce Meyer, Robert Tilton, Kenneth Hagin, Jesse Duplantis, Paula White, and Steven Furtick, Jr. The list of false teachers is quite long, so we’ll stop the list with these famous health and wealth heretics.

The pastors I’m talking about are the Godly pastors in America (and in the U.K. and France and Germany) who are clearly genuine believers, who have many years of teaching and preaching the Word of God with a devoted heart, and a mind committed to the inerrancy and truth of the Bible. Some of these great pastors have been faithfully serving God and their churches for decades, and in one case for over 50 years! We would be justified in boasting about their faithful service and all the good they have done for the Kingdom, but what we are addressing here is far too serious to ignore any longer.

HOW COULD PASTORS BE FOOLED BY HELIOCENTRISM?

How could such genuine believers, such Godly pastors committed to the full time teaching and preaching of God’s Word become so deceived that they would or could embrace scientism’s belief system, a system that is contrary to the Holy Word of God?

The answer is not an easy one. As one of the most famous lines repeated in many movie scripts goes, “It’s complicated.” But there is a reasonable answer. The answer lies in understanding the influences in our cultures, and how we grow up marinating in a constant barrage of propaganda that creates beliefs that become deeply embedded in our worldview over a lifetime. But that is far from a complete explanation.

The answer also lies in understanding the depth of the meaning of Jesus’ words,

“See to it that no one deceives you.” (Matthew 24:4)

Most believers don’t understand the impact our cultures have had on our theology. Good people fall for massive lies every day. Even pastors who have committed their lives to studying and teaching the Word of God can and do get caught in deception that misdirects some of their theology.

The propaganda machines are running night and day, and from the day you’re born, you are being bombarded with lies and fake news and false data. And the saying, “If you tell a lie long enough, people will believe it,” is a true statement. It’s too bad people are so gullible, but they are. What surprises me is not that people are gullible, but the extent to which they are gullible.

Of course, Satan is the great deceiver. As a Christian, what would you expect Satan to be doing all this time? Giving you happy Hallmark Christmas stories? Hardly. His mission is very evil. He’s had thousands of years–literally, and his schemes are deep and wide around the globe.

We know how bad it gets in the last days, because we are told in 2 Tim 3:1-5. Here’s exactly what people become in the last days:

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (ESV)

It’s a horrendous picture of how brainwashed people become, how they accept the lies and reject the truth. How can we possibly get to that place as a human race? While pastors have asked this question from the pulpits many times and preached from these verses too many times for most to remember, it is not hard to miss the forest for the trees.

While good pastors preach about how believers can be deceived, they somehow miss the point that they need to listen to their own sermon. They too are human and can be deceived. Who is the last to know who is deceived? The one who is deceived. There are two classes of people who are deceived: those who have accepted the propaganda and are still unwilling to question what they are told by the government, and those who are narcissistic and incapable of questioning their perfection and intelligence.

Here’s how this gets far worse in a heartbeat. Those who are “narcissistic” or as the Bible calls it, “prideful,” will not have the capacity to know that they are deceived. If you tell them they are deceived, they will vociferously deny it, and immediately explain why you are the one deceived. That’s the dangerous nature of pride.

What is the big picture that plays such an important role in developing our worldviews such that we could be deceived in important doctrinal matters? Governments around the world work together to coordinate the International network of news and data to provide a consistent narrative that convinces people over their lifetimes that there is no God, no Satan, that the Universe was created by the Big Bang, and man crawled out of the ocean as a slimy sea creature eventually morphing into a monkey and then miraculously into a human being.

But the lies and brainwashing do not stop there. It’s harder to find truth now than it is to find lies. Lies are everywhere. History has been re-written to support false narratives. The legacy media now consists of only six companies that own all the network news in America, and this network supports and promotes the propaganda narrative that the earth is a globe, that the earth revolves around the sun, and we live in a heliocentric system, one created by happenstance 14.5 billion years ago in a big bang with no original explanation.

The heliocentric model is pushed on us 24/7 from the day we fall out of the crib, and the media is the broadcast arm of NASA, the biggest promoter of heliocentrism the world has every known. The six media companies that control the narrative have vast ownership and control of what you hear every day. Their content dominates your T.V., and all news and entertainment services on your smartphone and your children’s smartphones. Our lives are saturated with these six companies’ services.

These six companies and all their subsidiaries make up the largest propaganda network in the history of the world, and they have been on a full court press against the truth for decades. They have been putting subtle lies and blatant lies in your head since you were born.

Here’s the tip of the iceberg of their ownership and control.

COMCAST

Comcast is a sprawling media and telecommunications business. Comcast owns the largest pay-TV and home Internet service provider in the U.S. (Xfinity), the largest pay-TV provider in Europe (Sky), several broadcast and cable networks, several live-action and animated film studios, an ad-supported subscription video on demand service called Peacock, four Universal Studio theme parks around the world, and a sports entertainment company called Comcast Spectacor.

WALT DISNEY

Walt Disney owns Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm, and other film studios, including the ABC network, ESPN and several other cable networks, 14 theme parks, cruise lines, resorts, streaming video services Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Star.

AT&T

AT&T owns Time Warner (now WarnerMedia) and DirecTV. It’s a major pay-TV and wireless phone service provider in the U.S. and Latin America, and its WarnerMedia business owns several cable networks, including HBO, and film studios like DC Comics and New Line Cinemas. It also owns digital advertising analytics company Xandr.

ViacomCBS

ViacomCBS is the result of the re-merging of Viacom and CBS, and has recently rebranded to Paramount. It owns the CBS broadcast network and studios, Showtime, several cable networks in the U.S. and internationally, Paramount Pictures studios, Simon & Schuster book publishing, and streaming video services Pluto TV and Paramount+.

SONY

Sony is an unbelievably large Japanese conglomerate with operations in consumer electronics, image sensors, and media. The Sony Entertainment subsidiary includes film and television studios, like Sony Pictures, Columbia, and TriStar, among others, as well as Sony Music Entertainment, one of the big three record labels, and its anime business, which houses A-1 studios and the Crunchyroll streaming service.

FOX

Fox includes the FOX network, 28 affiliate stations, the Fox News cable network (now the largest news network) and radio stations, the Fox Sports national networks, and the Tubi ad-supported streaming service.

THE WORLD WE LIVE IN

Just imagine that your children’s minds from the age they can see and hear are saturated in all of this night and day for the next 20 years. Night and day it’s heliocentrism, heliocentrism, heliocentrism! There is no God! There is no God! We’re all random happenstance! Your life has no meaning whatsoever. After a lifetime of this brainwashing, what would be the condition of our childrens’ minds by the time they become young adults? No wonder we end up in 2 Timothy 2 in the last days!

Now add all the other life influences we’ve been talking about earlier, and what do you get? You get a near impossibility that a person can keep their mind shielded from all this evil and maintain any kind of logical thinking founded upon the truth and nothing but the truth. Almost impossible!

But God did not give us impossibility. He gave us the Truth, if we will possess it, and he gave us meticulous instructions on how to raise our defenses and use our offensive weapons, too. Let’s summarize how strongholds build fortresses in your mind that become almost impenetrable.

Strongholds built on lies and false history and false beliefs of all kinds are fed into your mind your entire life, and these lies are constantly reinforced by massive programs, agencies, media, and political systems your whole life. The reinforcement narrative bombards you and your children from every direction, including government agencies like NASA, many other three letter agencies, and the media networks. And there’s more.

The entertainment industry reinforces the anti-God narrative as well in movies and music, and they’ve been doing an incredibly effective job. Technology companies are part of this large evil network, and they steal all your private information to feed it to these entertainment and news media in order to get more stimulating and tempting images and links fed to you 24/7 to affirm their narrative with a never ending pounding of their drums.

And technology companies play a major role in feeding you just the right information and data on social networks, and they also control what you can find in search engines by censoring and shadow banning those who are telling the truth about almost any subject that is contrary to the evil narratives.

This is not only how they feed your brain information you accept as true, but it’s how they continually reinforce what they have been feeding you so that false beliefs get thoroughly anchored in your mind, become strongholds, and over the years as more affirming lies are fed to your eyes and your ears, a neurological network is built around those beliefs creating a fortress of false beliefs that control your behavior and your life decisions.

This is how it happens, and it has been happening to billions of people around the world without them having a clue that they are being deceived and manipulated.

Once you’ve been engulfed in this system, and we all have, it takes extraordinary effort to break free, but there is hope, because God does provide a way.

Do you want to be free? Are you feeling uncomfortable with the idea that you may be a puppet whose strings are being pulled by a system of lies and deceit and manipulation? Do you want to tear down the strongholds in your mind? Do you want to discover what those strongholds are, and destroy them? Then pursue God honestly and with all your heart and soul and mind. Read the scriptures with eyes that truly want to see the truth, and pray that God will help you not to be deceived by the massive influence of scientism in our culture and even in the pulpits.

How could pastors be fooled by heliocentrism? It’s not hard. You and I were our whole lives. Pastors are just men like us, humans in the flesh trying to figure this life out. They makes mistakes like we all do. But now that you’ve been put on notice, what are you going to do? Do not believe heliocentrism, because it is Satan’s greatest magic trick.
