Legal Disclosure Requirement: The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires clear and conspicuous disclosure of any material connection between an endorser and the seller of a product or service. For online affiliate sales, this means that bloggers, influencers, and other endorsers must disclose their relationship with the brand or company in a way that is easily noticeable and understandable to the average consumer.
When you post your affiliate link anywhere, you must use one of these two phrases before your affiliate link, not after. It must be in regular font size, and not smaller than the other fonts on your post.
“I earn an affiliate fee through BooksOnline.Club if you make a purchase through my affiliate link.” Or you can use this phrase: “This post contains affiliate links, which means I may receive a commission or affiliate fee for purchases made through these links.”
